Election time in Israel ... and Mr. Security is not 100% confident of a win.

Let's hope this changes before Netanyahu blows up the Middle East and drags us into it.

Maybe we should be asking for Israels help, at least they have the guts and know how to deal with invaders.

This is a political calculation by the PM .... one that has always worked to his benefit in past elections.  But with the probability of an indictment for corruption coming down the pike he's got to up the ante.  Bombing Gaza is not enough to assure he holds onto the premiership this time.

The elections are in April .... let's pray BiBi doesn't further piss off Putin before then.  We don't need our blood and treasure dragged back into the swamp that is the Middle East.

I think an attack as Israel carried out has to be a bit more than election year politics.  I see Syrian officials are now threatening an attack on the Israeli airport. As I've said before, it's pretty crazy that Israel has bombed Syria up to maybe 3 dozen times or more in the last two years, we've struck 2 or 3 times, every time with little if any response. It does seem to be a valid concern of Israel's as to what Iran does and obviously, Iran supplies weapons to Hamas and Hezbollah.
