Turkish prosecutor seeks extradition of NBA's Kanter over Gulen links: Anadolu

Kanter, a vocal critic of President Tayyip Erdogan, was indicted by a Turkish court last year over alleged membership of an “armed terrrorist group” after being contacted repeatedly by people close to Islamic preacher Fethullah Gulen.

The Istanbul prosecutors’ office was not immediately available to comment on the report on Wednesday.

The guy's just a freakin' basketball player, these foreigners like Petrovic, Nowitzky and so on, from Greece, Argentina with Ginobilli prior, have been an asset to the league. Erdogan and Turkey are freaking jokes to want someone like Kanter extradited. Shows how unreasonable the Turks are.
