SDF militias of declare the failure of negotiations with the Syrian regime 15 Jan, 2019 A leader of the "Syria's Democratic Forces" SDF militias announced the failure of negotiations with the Syrian regime several months after had been launched, in an attempt to get the latter to enter the Syria's Democratic militias-held areas in order to avoid the Turkish military operation."The recent talks with the Syrian regime have not been fruitful," said Ilham Ahmed, the leader of the militias during a meeting of elders and tribal sheikhs in al-Darbasiyya district in Hasakah countryside last Sunday.She explained that the failure of the negotiations is due to the insistence of the Syrian regime on its old policies, and intransigence in imposing control over the region under the pretext of the unity of Syrian territory.Read more at: http://nedaa-sy.com/en/news/11063
