Ginsburg shows no remaining signs of cancer, Supreme Court says
by Melissa Quinn
 | January 11, 2019 12:59 PM

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's recovery from cancer surgery is “on track,” though she will remain off the bench for the second week in a row, the Supreme Court said Friday.

“Justice Ginsburg will continue to work from home next week and will participate in the consideration and decision of the cases on the basis of the briefs and the transcripts of oral arguments,” Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said in a statement.

Arberg said that Ginsburg’s post-surgery evaluation showed no signs of remaining cancer, and that no additional treatment is needed.

Ginsburg underwent surgery Dec. 21 to remove two cancerous nodules from her left lung. She was discharged from the hospital on Christmas Day and has since been recuperating at home.

Glad to hear she is recovering.  But it should not be her patriotic duty to die in the saddle.

I'm afraid leftwing pucker strings aren't gonna be able to handle the strain of hoping Ginsberg remains healthy for another year.

Of course if she makes it to the end of this year the left will deny Trump the right to nominate her replacement claiming its too close to the election.

And where did Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg receive her medical degree again?

I have no use for people that hang onto power well past their time. Greedy pride and hubris wanting to control everything to the grave, something govt bureaucrats seem to be worse about than anyone.

If she wants to give it up and live out the rest of her life, I wish her peace. Otherwise, the sooner off stage, the better.
The Republic is lost.

Remember the movie Constantine, where Lucifer reaches in to Constantine's lungs and removes the lung cancer so that he lives longer?  I'm imagining something along those lines.

If he only could have taught him how to act.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

Doctor Warns 85-Year-Old Ruth Bader Ginsburg Likely Very Ill ‘Media Underestimating Severity of Her Illness’
Cristina Laila by Cristina Laila January 11, 2019

In light of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s history of cancers and most recently, a surgery to have cancerous tumors removed from her lungs as well as her absence from the bench, Dr. Joseph Bentivegna writes Bader, 85, is quite ill. ...

The doctor laid out Ginsburg’s history of illness in his blog post, but points out the most significant thing is the justice’s recent surgery on her lungs to remove tumors.

    1. She had non-metastatic colon cancer removed in 1999
    2. She had non-metastatic pancreatic cancer removed in 2010.
    3. She had a stent placed in her coronary arteries in 2014
    4. She fell in November of 2018 and broke three ribs.
    5. She had surgery in December of 2018 and had two malignant nodules removed from her lungs.
    6. Scans found no other cancer in her body.
    7. She is 85 years old and has no history of being a smoker. ...  Gateway Pundit

I truly wish her the best.
Unfortunately, scans cannot detect cancer that has spread and remains microscopic.

The most telling thing to me about Ginsburg is this:

After seeing Sotomayor and Kagan placed on the Court, she had enough respect for the law to not allow Obama to choose her successor.

This is the same bunch who told us she was "100% OK!" after the rib surgery.  We now know they had diagnosed the cancer at that time, and they had lied about her health.

What makes anybody believe them now?

I don't see it that way at all.  It just tells me she didn't trust Obastard to nominate a Ginsburg clone.
