Western lefties have a long history of clinging to every totalitarian revolution, from the Soviet Union to the Islamic theocracy in Iran, long after their own populations and even the children and grandchildren of the elites have turned on them.
The only people who still believe in Cuba's dictatorship can be found, not in Havana, but in Hollywood. And the only people who still believe in Islamic theocracy can be found in Washington D.C.
Hassan Khomeyni, the grandson of Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini (Khomeyni), the man who founded the Islamic Republic in 1979, says there is no guarantee that clerical rule can continue in Iran.
