Two more Kansas state lawmakers say they're leaving GOP
By Justin Wise - 12/19/18 10:24 AM EST

A pair of GOP state lawmakers in Kansas said Wednesday that they will soon switch their party affiliation and register as Democrats.

Sen. Dinah Sykes and Rep. Stephanie Clayton announced their decisions in separate Facebook posts.

Clayton, a lifelong Republican who has served in the Kansas Legislature for the 19th District since 2013, said she will be a Democrat when the House reconvenes next month.

“I first ran for office in 2010, when my daughter was in first grade, because of the lack of stable funding for public education. Leaders in the Kansas House and Senate have now indicated that they will seek to scrap the bipartisan education plan achieved over the last two years, just as we are so close to solving this problem and ending the cycle of school litigation. My Republican Party, then, seems to no longer represent or serve the interests of the 19th District, Johnson County, or the State of Kansas," she wrote.

So, it's more about state politics.

“Morally, the party is not going where my compass resides,” Bollier said.

Yeah. Can you expand on what compass the Rats have that is so appealing you stupid lying bitch?

BTW I find it interesting that these clowns decide to do this just a couple weeks after they were just elected. Sound to me like these are opportunists and not moralist.

Outgoing state Rep. Joy Koesten (R) also announced that she was switching her party affiliation to become a Democrat, according to The Associated Press.

Oh. Wonder why someone would do that?

Koesten was elected in 2016 in a moderate wave, but lost her District 28 seat in the primary to conservative challenger Kellie Warren. Warren will assume office next month after beating Democrat Brian Clausen in the general election.

Moderate wave? LOL. Does that include Trump?

All these women were total phonies and liars. They will be thrown out as soon as the next election rolls around.

This is why you shouldn't vote for women.

I think it depends where they are in the transition process.  Any point past being able to convert back to a dude is a no go situation.

Arlen Specter was a woman?

It's the only explanation.

I'm just really really tired.  Needed a nap.  I didn't lie for long.
