Iraqi troops arrest a suspected Islamic State militant
Anbar (IraqiNews.com) – Iraqi authorities announced on Monday the capture of a man for providing funding for the terrorist Islamic State group in Anbar province.
“Troops of the 14th division of the Military Intelligence Directorate, in cooperation with Anbar intelligence service, launched a security campaign targeting a man implicated in collecting money by force from citizens for the Islamic State group in Fallujah district in Anbar,†Ayn Al Iraq News quoted the directorate as saying.
“The arrested terrorist was on the wanted list of the Iraqi judiciary,†the statement read.
