OK, you do realize that he shaved that portion of his chin, right? Not every style of beard covers the entire chin. ANd I really doubt he cares what anyone thinks about his beard except for his wife. :pondering: happy77

For some reason if I don't shave for more than 4-5 days I start breaking out in zits.  What is the deal with that?

Thanks. I find the key is to keep it well-groomed, although I let it get a bit longer in the winter months. No need to go all Rasputin.

I agree. Maintaining a mustache and/or a beard, takes tools, patience, et.

I advise that he give it time. I think it might "soften" him, come across, a bit more casually.
