A Birmingham woman has spoken of the horrific consequences of forced marriage when she was sent to Bangladesh and pressurised into marrying a man twice her age.
Beauty queen Rubie Marie, was 15 when it happend, and said she was raped “more or less, every single day†so she could pregnant and her husband could get into the UK. Watch her shocking story in the video above.
She only managed to escape when she returned to Wales to give birth. "That brought shame to the family again in their eyes. And I was disowned for a very long time," she said.

She was a beauty queen but I think it must have been some "ethnic" or other special contest, not meaning to downplay that. Just not the Miss England whole deal (or her part of England, the Midlands).
