I think this is great.  An avenue is needed for journalists to tell the conservative side of issues.  Sick to death of the liberal MSM news of lies and deceit and continuing trash talk of the GOP and conservatives.

he new Blaze Media company debuted Monday, consolidating the draw of popular conservative pundits Mark Levin and Glenn Beck under one multiplatform entity with a combined monthly reach of 165 million.

CRTV, headlined by Levin’s LevinTV program, and Beck’s TheBlaze, announced the two media outlets had merged to create Blaze Media, creating the “largest independent, traditionally conservative multiplatform media company in the United States.”

Effective immediately, CRTV subscribers and premium subscribers of TheBlaze will have access to the full on-demand library of both companies and 30 original shows.

Levin says he’s excited by the merger because Blaze Media will provide “an alternative to liberal media group-think” to the millions of Americans who are fed up with liberal media pushing leftist propaganda disguised as “news”:......

I heard this on Andrew Wilkow today. I get The Blaze on Dish. Wonder how that will be affected. I think Malkin and Crowder were on CRTV along with Levin and Wilkow.

Why?  Both conservative.  Beck at one time seemed to be a little over the top, but some of his 'predictions' have been accurate.  Levin is a constitutionalist. 

I'm just glad that there is a news sources out there that doesn't represent the liberal MSM.

I watch a movie once in awhile, but I can't remember the last time I sat and actually watched a TV program.

Conservative media companies TheBlaze and CRTV are merging to create a new right-leaning entity called Blaze Media, which says it will reach 165 million people across platforms.

Blaze Media did not break out pay-TV numbers but said it will have carriage on Dish Network, Verizon and other systems, the company said.
CRTV launched in 2014 and has featured hosts including Mark Levin, who is also on Fox News. The roster of personalities in the combined company will include Steven Crowder, Eric Bolling, Michelle Malkin and Phil Robertson.

 Blaze Media described itself as a “digital-first, multiplatform media company built on the foundation of bold discourse, big ideas, and free expression.” The deal comes just weeks after Fox News launched its Fox Nation subscription streaming service and in a climate of growth for conservative outlets both established and grassroots.
The company will be led by Tyler Cardon and Gaston Mooney, who will serve as Blaze Media co-presidents.

“Tens of millions of Americans have had it with the biased, ideologically-driven mainstream media outlets that sanctimoniously advance their own agendas under the guise of ‘news’ and ‘journalism,’” Levin said.

Beck said the new company “will now be as broad and ideologically diverse as the audiences we serve. Conservatives, libertarians, constitutionalists, and more have a home at Blaze Media. Our hosts will have differences, but we share a common belief in free expression, honest discourse and a society founded in the principles of the Bill of Rights. I’m beyond thrilled about this merger.”

In other words, TheBlaze, which had been slowly collapsing, finds its dignified exit, while up-and-coming CRTV gets a linear platform. I think, as far as winners and losers go, CRTV comes out better on this one.

This is great.  Our side needs all the venues it can get.  Especially since Fox News seems to be veering left these days.  I learned a lot from Beck when  he was on Fox... and him, teamed up with Levin, will be a major (xtra sharp) thorn in the leftists' side.   Which makes me very, VERY happy.

There are plenty of top quality media people.

Levin said on radio yesterday, that he is not in management. They brought in management talent.

You can look to emerging models of podcasters/youtubers like Ben Shapiro's Daily Wire, One America News, Circa,

The IDW proved the appeal of "Long Format Discussions." Levin himself has made reference to that format.

All-in-all, many agree the Olde Media is dying, and in need of big changes.


More than one source has mentioned "billionares" willing to fund new/alternative ventures. Levin said they did not have investors, however.


There is the challenge of keeping Beck's medications balanced, and Levin's screams in control. I have become a Levin fan over the two years.



I think they face risks of merging two support staffs, with related costs, instead of being lean and mean.

Digital hardeware and software knowledge is easily shared. I would look at what Ben Shapiro, Joe Rogan and Dave Rubin have for sets, and technology.

But I expect they plan on a multi-platform lifestyle, so the whole venture should prove interesting to observe.
