Law Clerk Confirms Bad News For Ginsburg, Reports Retirement Is Near [Video]
Daphne Moon 1 day ago

Happening now: Law clerk spoke privately to reporters about the real state of Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s, health and reports looming retirement. The reporter claims to have spoken privately with the law clerk who confirmed that a type of skin cancer has returned out of remission.

The sources went on to say that Ginsburg has spoken to her colleagues about retiring in January. What I find concerning about this story is the lack of coverage has made it impossible to find out more details until new information is released. However, if this is true, Trump will be given yet another seat to nominate a candidate of his choice into the Supreme Court.

According to The Santa Monica Observer, “Ginsburg has had a re-occurrence of malignant melanoma, she has told her law clerks. Ginsburg was treated in 1999 for colon cancer and had surgery in 2009 for pancreatic cancer.

I assumed something like this was happening when she fell and broke her ribs -- assuming that's what really happened. She's had and defeated some of the very worst kinds of cancer. I've lost beloved family members to pancreatic cancer and melanoma and am aware of how virulent they all are. She has certainly beat the odds, but at 85, the odds are not in her favor. Prayers for her and her family.

All that said, I wonder what horrible scheme the Dems have cooked up for RBG's replacement. If they can get nastier than they were during the Kavanaugh mess, I dread seeing it. They are truly the dregs of society.

Take this with a grain of salt.   Turns out the source "The Santa Monica Observer," printed an Identical story back in Jan.  They just changed the date.

Yes.  We won't know until we know.  I am sorry for Ruth. She's had horrible health problems in the last ten years but I'm guessing she will have to retire, much against her will because she would have loved to wait Trump out.

Mr. Trump should send a top-secret message to Amy Coney Barrett to "keep her traveling bag packed" and ready to move on a moment's notice...

What horrible scheme?  Overturning the mid term elections by bogus ballots and election corruption handing the majority to the DEMS in the Senate; hindering any chance of another conservative justice.  That's been their immediate goal.

Breaking ribs at 85 could create additional problems; the first that comes to mind is pneumonia setting in from not being able to breathe or ambulate properly.

No problem as far as I'm concerned.  Last thing I want is to be confused with him.

They failed to secure that Senate majority, and they will pay dearly for that.  With Kavanaugh, the Republicans in the Senate now understand there's no point in playing footsie with the Rats.  If Ruth Buzzie retires, let us hope for the sooner, the better.  If she can hold on until, say, November then Trump won't get to name her replacement unless he wins in 2020.

@Emjay

Tried that. Several ways, several times, over a lengthy period of time. No one paid attention. Besides, @Jazzhead is happy not to be confused with me, so it's working out well.

P.S. @Cyber Liberty is correct. "He" is a "she." Since birth.

Since RBG attended the awards ceremony yesterday, she must be doing better. I truly hope so. I would rather that she (or another justice) retire because it's time rather than due to a terrible illness.

In my fondest dreams, I hope for two more appointments before Trump leaves office (although I dread seeing how low the Dems will descend in order to prevent the candidates from being approved).

Politicians with severe lust for power never resign.  Example:  John McStain.  They only go out feet-first.  If RBG was inclined to resign, she would have done it during Obastard's reign of terror.  Now she's just a bitter clinger with a black robe.

In other news, Francisco Franco is still dead.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

If Hyde-Smith wins the runoff in MS, we'll have 53 in the Senate, with quite a few of the squish gone.

Right now I'm thinking Amy Coney Barrett.
The Republic is lost.

After the Kavenough hearings I'm not sure she (or anyone else) would take the job.

Well we have an anonymous law clerk now v. no source at all in the previous article. Better, but still not enough to confirm it, even though my gut says she's about done.

She will probably issue some decisions, even if they have to be ghost-written.

So, you're saying we should expect some "Weekend at Bernie's" deception from the left. That shouldn't be hard to pull off. She's barely upright as it is. She's so teensy, they probably won't need anything more than a desk stapler.

P.S. You're right again. I don't look like Altuve. Plus, he's much taller than I am -- not a joke.

Exactly.  On all counts.
