Radical black director Spike Lee recently compared the Democrats’ midterm retaking of the House to the allied troops landing on the shores of Normandy but it appears that socialism is what has gained a foothold on the beach in imperial Washington.

As expected, the 28-year-old taco bar revolutionary Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez swept to victory in New York’s 14th Congressional District and will use her star power to begin building her own socialist bloc in Congress which she has previously promoted as her “posse” who will help her push for sweeping systemic changes.

These women are in for a cruel surprise when they find out that running on a promise and delivering that promise are many many many miles apart

I wonder if this is the writing on the wall where we mainstream leftists?  We had Bernie, and kooky Kuchinich, but they were pretty isolated in their open leftism.  Now it's becoming "normal".  Will we look back 10 years from now and see that this was the turning point?
