Trump reportedly preparing to fire Kirstjen Nielsen

President Trump is reportedly preparing to dismiss Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and the removal could happen as soon as this week.

According to a report Monday night in The Washington Post, which cited “five current and former White House officials,” Mr. Trump told aides last weekend that he has decided to dismiss her over what he sees as her lackluster performance on immigration enforcement.

In before the chucklers.

Although I don't see anything particularly wrong with keeping the energy level high by changing up personnel from time to time.

And its always nice to see a public servant held to some standard of performance. Just IMO.

President Donald Trump is considering yet another shakeup of his administration, preparing to remove Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and looking at possible replacements for Chief of Staff John Kelly, including Vice President Mike Pence's Chief of Staff Nick Ayers, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

Nielsen, who became secretary at Homeland Security when John Kelly left DHS to become Trump's chief of staff, is expected to leave her role in the coming weeks and could be asked to resign, according to sources. However, Kelly is fighting to delay her departure, the sources said.

The timeline for a shakeup remains unclear and the White House has not responded to a request for comment.

So she is incompetent. So she is derelict in her duties. Have you checked her out in a suit?
