@WarmPotato

Does he actually have any job skills or a trade?

Maybe he can get a job as a greeting at a IHOP once he figures out he has failed at politics?
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!

Let's just face facts @Jazzhead   You want liberals/socialists controlling the reigns of power, and to your credit you don't care if they're called Democrats or RINOS.

I do not.

You and I are never going to agree ... and I've given your political gospel more daylight than it deserves.

We're done.

@Right_in_Virginia   Hint:  Ignore feature
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Why not comment on the substance of my posts, rather than just name-call?   Do you really think you're doing Trump's cause any good by petulantly saying you're putting me on ignore?

The problem with Trump's confrontational,  bullying style is that it has radicalized his enemies.   For the first time ever,  many of the prospective Dem Presidential candidates are opening espousing socialism.   This at a time when every American who's willing to work should be able to find a job, and most of us who are working are finally starting to see wage increases.

Why should a time of prosperity lead to calls for socialism and unending "resistance"?    That's the paradox of Donald Trump - and the midterms should prove that the distraction he represents has caused a whole lot of hitherto sensible Americans to vote for persons with some very dangerous ideas.

All I'm saying is that we consider keeping the prosperity and ditching the distraction.   Indeed,  the former may depend on the latter.

What's ironic, @Right_in_Virginia ,  is that of all the folks on this forum,  I think you're closest to me in terms of what we consider sound public policy.    And I agree with (most of) Trump's policies and appointments.

But I cannot help to react to the facts on the ground.   Trump/GOP policies should have rewarded the GOP this past election,  but instead we lost the House and enter the run-up to the 2020 elections with an opposition hellbent on investigations and socialism.   There is simply no explanation for this disconnect between objective reality and subjective madness than to point to the man who insisted the midterm election be a referendum on him.

My suggestion is far from outrageous,  and my motivations are practical.   I do not hate Donald Trump.   I credit him (and the GOP tax bill) for the current prosperity and the fine work he has done to rehabilitate the federal judiciary.    But it is time to ask whether the best way to continue Trump's laudable policies is to find a new champion for them.   Trump is, simply put, a distraction that endangers the GOP's ability to defend and advance growth, liberty and Constitutionalism.
