Thousands pack Times Square in support of Mueller investigation
NY Post, Nov 8, 2018, 9:12 PM, Allie Griffin and Ben Feuerherd

Thousands of protesters packed Times Square on Thursday evening to demonstrate against President Trump firing Secretary of State Jeff Sessions — a move they view as a threat to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the 2016 Trump presidential campaign.

The crowd of about 4,000 formed in Times Square at about 5 p.m. and headed south on Broadway toward Union Square.

Some held signs that read “Trump is not above the law” and “Protect Mueller!” The crowd also chanted “No excuse! Must recuse!” as they rallied in Times Square, according to video of the protest.

The rally was one of several demonstrations in U.S. cities including Boston, Baltimore, Chicago and Washington D.C. dubbed “ProtectMueller” marches.

They were organized by Move On advocacy group, who wrote in a statement announcing the marches: “Donald Trump has installed a crony to oversee the special counsel’s Trump-Russia investigation, crossing a red line set to protect the investigation.”

An empowered resistance, two senate seats in the process of being stolen --- anyone still upset that the President tweets?

Yes.

Those tweets may have made you feel better but they came at a high price.

Ironically, these sorts of astroturfing events were exactly what they accused the Russians of orchestrating in 2016.

No one's even been paying attention to that investigation for months. Yet, within hours, these guys can whip up "thousands of protesters?" On a weekday?!

Admit it, you were Hillary's campaign manager, weren't you.  Only a Hillary campaign worker could twist reality into such depravity ---- and post it with pride.

I was worried that after the elections we might not set aside our differences, come together, and begin to heal this divided nation.

Well to be honest that was about a Tweet Bush sent in 1999 as Gov. No wait. It wasn't a tweet. It was an public announcement he was running for President in 1999. Sorry. My mistake.

BREAKING: PROTESTS CALLED FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 5 PM LOCAL TIME

Donald Trump has installed a crony to oversee the special counsel's Trump-Russia investigation, crossing a red line set to protect the investigation. By replacing Rod Rosenstein with just-named Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker as special counsel Robert Mueller's boss on the investigation, Trump has undercut the independence of the investigation. Whitaker has publicly outlined strategies to stifle the investigation and cannot be allowed to remain in charge of it. The Nobody Is Above the Law network demands that Whitaker immediately commit not to assume supervision of the investigation. Our hundreds of response events are being launched to demonstrate the public demand for action to correct this injustice. We will update this page as the situation develops.

Donald Trump just crossed a red line, violating the independence of the investigation pursuing criminal charges in the Trump-Russia scandal and cover-up.

Trump putting himself above the law is a threat to our democracy, and we’ve got to get Congress to stop him.

We're mobilizing immediately to demand accountability, because Trump is not above the law.

I'm getting word that after the fiasco at Tucker Carlsons house last night and the bad optics all of these Antifa types are scrubbing their sites. Matt Yglesias just shut cleaned his Twit. He was calling for violence on people including Tucker.

IMHO, what we are witnessing right now is the rapid demise of our Republic and a move toward socialism.  The corruption that is going on in AZ, CA and FL recounts is destroying the legitimacy of the electoral process.

President Trump was elected by this same process, yet every attempt is being made by those who didn't vote for him to stop him from doing his job.

Mob rule and rampant corruption are winning.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

IMHO, what we are witnessing right now is the rapid demise of our Republic and a move toward socialism.

Move to it? We are already there. Just look at the ballot initiatives that pasted last week. UT voted to expand Medicaid (Free Healthcare for All). Cali voted to maintain high taxes. Some of the biggest companies in the country are essentially arms of the Federal Govt' (Google, Fakebook, Amazon). The people left who don't believe in a Living Wage, Free Shit or All and regulations now have to keep their mouths shut because these government controlled social media outlets will block your voice and if that doesn't work the new Govt' Brown Shirts will come to your door and break it down to intimidate you.

I'll also add that Bush pushed through all the tools the govt' needed to spy, arrest, surveil and meddle to keep you in line.
