Ohh good grief, Sessions was a great AG that unfortunately because of his political past and dealings with Trump (and a perchance meeting in a room with a Russian) had to recurse himself from certain things that Trump himself was associated with. This put Sessions at a disadvantage but it wasn't his fault. When you are one of the targets in certain things political, it is unethical to involve yourself in those things because it opens the door to showing favoritism.
IOWs because Sessions was Sessions it put him at an disadvantage compared to someone that was not a political insider (like hopefully perhaps the New AG). It doesn't matter that Sessions was squeaky clean, just by association with the swamp he had a lot of fingers in the pie. Perhaps both he and Trump didn't quite understand this going into the whole of the moon. To Sessions, this was his dream job and he wanted to do a good honest job, to Trump he perhaps wanted a above reproof person in the position. It didn't work out as both had planned, and Trump became bitter (and rude) and Jeff just tried to stay professional.
Again, it was unfortunate and I wish Sessions the best, but will not become a Trumpbot and repeat things like "do nothing" this and that. Anyone that knew Sessions knew he was doing what he could where he could at a disadvantage. Jeff's handicaps charred Trump supporters and I understand that, but this person will not be tar and feathering a good man.
