Nervous Callers Worry About Military-At-Border Optics

Oct 22, 2018

RUSH: Here is Mike in Youngstown, Ohio. Getting a call in here the first hour. Welcome, sir. How are you?

CALLER: Good. Good, Rush. And I hope you and your family’s all doing good. Listen. I think this has all the makings of a bad setup for Trump because of the optics. I don’t care if he militarizes the border, if they bum-rush the border like they did on the southern side of Mexico where they tried to stop ’em; what’s our military supposed to do? Break out batons or water hoses or tear gas? That’s just gonna look so bad that Trump is gonna take the brunt of it. What he needs to do is call the House and the Senate back into emergency session and do a national address. And put everybody’s butt on the line. Not just try a tad deal with this himself.

RUSH: So bring ’em back in for a special session to do what? Pass legislation specifically saying that this mob of 7,000 can’t come in?

CALLER: Something of that sort. I mean —

RUSH: You think Trump needs to share the burden of providing the obstacle that if Trump sends the military down and they start cracking heads and it looks bad for Trump?

CALLER: Exactly.

RUSH: So you think that’s what the actual intention here is, the people who have planned the thing?

CALLER: Exactly. And that’s where you can’t try to deal with this on his own. He needs to put everybody else’s butt on the line, get ’em on tape, on film, or whatever, what should we do. What would you like to do if they come across —

RUSH: I actually like that in a way, I like making Schumer and Pelosi stand up for letting these people in. Anyway, it’s a good point. It’s a… It’s a… I don’t wanna say dangerous situation, but it is in whole lot of different ways.

That is exactly what the orchestrators of this invasion army are counting on.

It worked gangbusters in Europe when they flooded them with Islamic "refugees" just a few years ago.

Now they are being conquered via force and with complicity of their own governments from within.

Just like we will be.

Why are the current laws, etc., on the books, whereby you can't hold somebody beyond 20 days and you have to release them to the public at large?

There's no excuse for this purposefully staged loophole to still stand.

The irony is if Trump were to handle it differently - if he were to meet the invaders with reasonable force enough to turn them away - most of the nation would applaud.

The cornerstone of Trump's campaign was stopping the invasion from the south.  Inactivity, and going soft right now would hurt him terribly politically.

Wonder how those invaders would like to see about 50,000 of our National Guard's best armed with water cannons, rubber bullets, etc.

The democrats have gone full treason on us, endangering our sovereignty.  Mr. President.....   hold you position.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Exactly.  The optics of rolling over and letting them in is what Trump needs to worry about.

The Third World; basically the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, is
inundated w/failures who tolerate and thereby encourage frauds and hustlers.
When these failures get bored they head to the first world w/their hand out.
They are aided and abetted by scaredy-cats like the Rush caller as well as
political trash such as Merkel, May, Phillipe, Trudeau, among dozens.
Third World failures have no fear of these political buffoons and will keep coming.
The Romans told the world;" HATE AS LONG AS YOU FEAR!!!"
WHO WILL DELIVER THAT MESSAGE???

Why are the current laws, etc., on the books, whereby you can't hold somebody beyond 20 days and you have to release them to the public at large?

Because this government has already demonstrated that loopholes for lawlessness with the full approval and complicity of both parties and nearly every "representative" sent to office, is how it operates.

They have no intention to stop an open border to a welfare state anymore than they have intentions to stop and repeal ObamaCare.

What part of that is so hard to comprehend?  Have we become so blind as to refuse to recognize that this government is not only lawless, but working against us?
