It’s an obvious fact that the GOP is composed of political cowards and opportunists willing to make a Faustian Bargain with the devil himself, if it garners them a vote or a financial contribution to save their jobs.

Their spinelessness and lack of character is the primary reason Obama repeatedly beat GOP leadership, and it’s the motivation behind the surrender by Republicans and conservatives to Trump as he rebrands them into Trumplicans and Trumpservatives to destroy conservatism.

Meanwhile, as Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan abandon conservatism in favor of Trump’s nationalist populism, the so-called conservative media has served as a willing accomplice in the destruction of conservative values, providing cover for the NY Liberal whenever he needs a distraction to hide his failures.

When have conservatives not been nationalist? Should they be internationalist? And populist? Does that mean people at the bottom portion of the income scale finding jobs?

An exploding deficit and continued funding of Planned Parenthood are ongoing problems so there must not have been any conservatives to be converted to nationalist populists.

This has been a problem for a long time.

Barry Goldwater didn't like the "silent majority" taking over or attempting to take over the GOP or Conservative causes... we all have different views on Conservatism.

Back before satellite TV, before Rush, I'd watch some of the political talk shows, there was George Will and he represented conservative... nowadays, people get lost in the shuffle.

So, the whole thing, imho, is a bit, hit and miss. I hope the general trend though, is towards Conservatism because, for heaven's sake, the way things went under Obama were not good for the country.

The guy is complaining that the real news is being skipped over, for things like Elizabeth Warren.
I understand that, but he's got a voice, so he can report away on the real news.
Instead, he's bitching about it.
