PM Lord Palmerston asserted that:
"Great nations have neither Allies nor Friends, they simply have Interests."
This principle guided Britain, one of the smaller nation/states of the world,
for centuries, so that by 1900 the Union Jack was unfurled over 45% of the
Earth, an astonishing feat achieved w/o either bribes or payoffs.
Then in 1920, following the Great War, Wilson declared our purpose was
" to make the world safe for democracy " and w/that our gravy train left
the station; yet to return.
The Third World heads here as we are the handout patsy of the world; led by
the likes of Hoover, FDR, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Clinton, the Bushes and Obama.
Just imagine if the Atlantic Ocean didn't exist?????????????????
