Science 1934 : Polar Ice Dissolving – Sea Level To Rise 40 Feet
Posted on October 14, 2018 by tonyheller

    “WORLD HEATING UP.”
    “ICE DISSOLVING AT POLES.”
    “SEA WILL RISE 40 FEET.”

One day the great Polar icecaps may melt—raising the level of the oceans from 40 to 50 feet, and wiping half of England from the map.

Doesn't seem to account for tides.

Are you saying that there's been little change in past 147 years, so any change we see is dramatic and likely anthropogenic?

An example of science: Archimedes Principle of Buoyant Force, the foundation for Fluid Mechanics.
An example of non-science: "One day the Polar Caps may melt raising the Sea Level 50 feet."

The problem is not the ice floating on water, but the ice setting above the water on land, that will melt into the sea.  The polar regions have significant ice on land.

That is not a statement supporting man-made global warming, but a fact of science.  Our sea levels have gone up and down significantly over the eons as global temperature changes happened before modern man existed.

To your credit, you recognize birth and death at the essence of Nature.
Given the Age of Earth @ 4.65 billion years, per proven radio-metric dating,
it's puzzling that so many "scientists" insist that climate change is both new
and all our fault. Perhaps they're not "scientists" after all? Hmm???
