Has the world gone mad? Mental health disorders on the rise globally

Latest update : 10/10/2018

Mental health disorders are on the rise in every country in the world and could cost the global economy up to $16 trillion between 2010 and 2030 if a collective failure to respond is not addressed, according to an expert report on Tuesday.

The “Lancet Commission” report by 28 global specialists in psychiatry, public health and neuroscience, as well as mental health patients and advocacy groups, said the growing crisis could cause lasting harm to people, communities and economies worldwide.

While some of the costs will be the direct costs of healthcare and medicines or other therapies, most are indirect - in the form of loss of productivity, and spending on social welfare, education and law and order, the report’s co-lead author Vikram Patel said.

What have these countries have in common?  It seems "refugee" invasions, followed by political upheavels brought on by weak kneed politicians, loss of culture to the "refugees," crime and terrorism by the "refugees with politicians and media standing up for them and not the citizens, etc., Russia creeping ever closer, China's creeping control of Asia, civility being thrown out the door.  Yes, I can see why there are mental problems. :reaper:

Not to mention the side effects of the drugs they have some of today's youth on (most school shooters have been found to have been on some type of these drugs).

Drugs, crappy eating, stress, following bad ideologies all takes a toll on your brain.

These drugs are a gift that just keeps on giving for the mental health providers and for the pharmaceutical industry.

Obesity causes depression and other mental disorders + all the fast food crap people are eating + no excercise to burn off anxiety = why we have most of the problems we have.

And.... for the anarchist, anti-gun-ownership leftists and deep state elitists that seek to confiscate weapons from all law-abiding citizens in America some day.

If you're on social media, you see that teenagers brag about their depression.  They luxuriate in it, and that isn't an exaggeration.

At that time of life, hormones are going crazy, so it isn't surprising for them to have some emotional issues.  But they shouldn't be so serious, to the point of making memes about suicide.  It's bizarre.

It's the internet.
And video games.
And "social media".
And all that ...!

Money. Pure and Simple.

Everyone gets their cut except the victims.

My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

Are you shitting me? I got tenants raking in the SSI from claiming random disorders. It's like hitting the lottery for those dopes.

Perhaps you've a point.

They're already so stupid and Shit-useless they probably won't ever Miss their Bill of Rights or be bothered by the brain damage and shortened life expectancy that comes along with their Bullshit disability.

I'd like to say we'll be better off without them but there's a substantial record of them attacking and murdering 3rd parties when the dope that goes with their disability causes them to snap.

Like School Shootings from the younger ones.
