A man suspected of being involved in a firebomb attack which killed five young children and three adults in Birkby 16 years ago has been extradited into the UK to face eight murder charges.
Shahid Mohammed disappeared in May 2002 after eight people were killed in a house fire on Osborne Road in Birkby.
He remains the only suspect not to have faced justice in connection with the tragedy and his whereabouts were unknown until 2015 when he was arrested in Pakistan .
