Cruz Leads O’Rourke 50-44 in October Poll

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz leads Democrat challenger Beto O’Rourke 50 to 44 in a CBS YouGov poll conducted October 2-5.
The survey of 1,031 registered and likely Texas voters released Sunday showed Cruz with a six point lead over O’Rourke in the more recent CBS battleground tracker poll.

Democrat voters were motivated to vote out of opposition to President Donald Trump while Republican voters indicated their vote for U.S. Senate is motivated out of support for President Trump, according to CBS.

Respondents supporting Cruz indicated a greater draw to his issue stances than personal qualities while O’Rourke supporters relatively evenly supported him on issues and personal qualities.

On immigration and guns, Cruz held double-digit support over O’Rourke. When it came to, as CBS reported it “representing change,” challenger O’Rourke held an approximately 20 point lead over incumbent Cruz.

And, only works if we get out there and cast a vote.

Saw a brief segment on Fox with Beatoff and Cruz. Beto super casual in jeans and  ball cap that he had no idea how to wear. It was sitting on his head so it didn't mess his coif. He looks and sounds stupid. He was at a college rally and when asked how to get his enthusiastic young audience to the polls rambled on about universal healthcare, the next SC justice, and teachers. He claims "I don't ask anyone at my rallies what party they belong to. I want to represent all Texans." What an idiot!

Cruz was all about the economy. The danger is complacency. He's right, as usual.
