Psychology of Christine Ford - she is a paranoid obsessive megalomaniacal neurotic, who is prone to fantasies and delusions that she is more than she seems to be, and that people are "out to get her". Her condition may be caused by early onset dementia or another neurological and/or chemical imbalance and will certainly worsen and become more profound as she ages. While she pretends to eschew her recent notoriety, in fact she feels that she is finally getting the recognition that she has always deserved.
I believe that eventually she will be committed to a hospice or sanitarium to live out her remaining life, disconnected from reality and living in a fantasy world of her mind.
I have a friend that is about the same age as Ford. During her "youth" she endulged in many drugs, pot being only one form. To this day her memory is that of an elderly person suffering from dementia. She tends toward paranoid delusions that she is being watched, followed, spied on, tracked, etc.
The drugs have apparently decimated her intelligence level to that of a grade school child when it comes to certain normal functions and coping in present day without help from friends and family. If not for her family's wealth, she would probably be a homeless, on the street, bag lady.... due to her inability to get a job or keep it.
I posit that, if Ford is not just making up her condition (PTSD, panic attacks, being terrified, etc.).... her condition could well be a result of having taken too many such drugs in her youth, just as my friend's condition.
