U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced Friday that construction will begin on the U.S.-Mexico border wall Saturday in El Paso, Texas.

Authorized by President Donald Trump in an executive order signed in January, the 18-foot steel bollard wall will replace the existing pedestrian fencing, according to CBP. The project is expected to cost about $22 million and construction is estimated to be completed in April 2019.

“This new wall will be far more durable and far more effective in deterring would-be illegal entrants,” said Aaron Hull, Chief Patrol Agent of the El Paso Sector. (RELATED: Border Wall Construction Progresses In New Mexico)

I think that's the height, not the width.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

Consider it a work in progress, which is 100% More than we'd have got from Hillary.

The location of the border wall project will be a four-mile section of existing chain link and expanded metal fence beginning just west of the Paso Del Norte international crossing and extending east to the Fonseca Road area. The existing barrier will be removed and an 18 foot high steel bollard wall will be constructed in its place. The construction project is expected to be completed in late April 2019.
