Seven people shot in Syracuse, New York: reports
(Reuters) - Up to seven people, including children, were shot in Syracuse, New York on Thursday, the firefighters union said on social media.
Police responded to a shooting shortly after 9 p.m. local time and found several people with gunshot wounds, the department said in a statement posted on Twitter by a producer for National Public Radio.
Police did not disclose how many people were shot or the extent of their wounds.
