Rush supports him, really unilaterrally, (almost) all of the Conservative media is supporting him. Scalia's former law firm? And this episode looks so contrived. It's like the Democrats don't have a soul.  She is being exposed almost by the hour.

I think the Repubs need to stand up, this is a hill to fight it out on.... I think his chances are still good, I don't see the gloominess at all. Assuming she testifies... and in the very near future, no time after next week.

She deserves no investigation. She's given them nothing to investigate because her claims are so vague. That's even if it was their jurisdiction.

I'd flat tell her it's Monday or nothing, or the vote goes down, so he can start the new SCOTUS term Oct. 1.

Why are there "negotiations?"  I thought  Grassley was going to insist she show up Monday without preconditions or the vote on Judge Kavanaugh's elevation to SCOTUS would go forward. 

That Republicans are considering "negotiating" with this chippy sounds like they are caving.  Caving is what they do best.
