Lawyers for Kavanaugh accuser to host Democratic fundraiser for Tammy Baldwin

In a strident display of Washington politics, the lawyers for the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault when they were high schoolers are hosting a fundraiser for embattled Democratic Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin, according to an email to donors.
The event featuring lawyers Debra Katz and Lisa Banks, who are representing Christine Blasey Ford, is scheduled for Monday Oct. 1 somewhere near Dupont Circle, which is where the lawyers have their office.
“Your support for Tammy's campaign has been wonderful and we really appreciate the help. We are fast approaching the final weeks and we could use your help one more time,†said the email provided to Secrets.
