President Donald Trump thanked first responders and law enforcement for their aiding of hurricane recovery efforts in the Carolinas and Virginia. Trump also expressed his sorrow for the lives lost in the storm.
He sure did. President Trump said...
Hurricane Florence is...A tough hurricane.
Hurricane Florence is...One of the wettest we’ve ever seen, from the standpoint of water.
Hurricane Florence is...Not good.
Hurricane Florence is...Tough to understand.
Hurricane Florence is...A really difficult period of time for a lot of people.
Hurricane Florence is...A very difficult situation.
Hurricane Florence is...A nasty one, a big one, like that area has certainly never seen before.
! No longer availableAnd he's absolutely right. You know it. I know it. The American people know it.
I say, when you take the time to get all that important info about the ongoing dangerous situation packed into your 80 second message of profound thanks...when you take that much effort to write and present an eloquent message to America...It really shows how much you care.
and yet the nattering nabobs of negativism will find some way to insult this heartfelt tribute to the first responders. They'll say "It looks like Trump had no idea what he was going to say 5 minutes before it was recorded. He probably meandered aimlessly for a few more minutes, but the ending was so terrible even Trump agreed to cut in a scripted last 10 seconds...because he was anxious to get back to the Gorilla Channel marathon."
Almost as good as his Warsaw speech.
Big applause to the Daily Caller for pointing it out.
