He really must be serious about 2020. Nothing gets progressives as excited as taking a public dump on due process in a sex-crime dispute.

Then again, Biden has much to atone for in their eyes.

From the administration that brought you the Star Chamber model for assessing guilt and innocence in allegations of campus sex crimes:

    “Oh, I thought [Anita Hill] was telling the truth at the beginning,” Biden said. “I really did.”

    Speaking generally, Biden added, “For a woman to come forward in the glaring lights of focus, nationally, you’ve got to start off with the presumption that at least the essence of what she’s talking about is real, whether or not she forgets facts, whether or not it’s been made worse or better over time. But nobody fails to understand that this is like jumping into a cauldron.”…

    Then one question got him to cut off the impromptu gaggle. Asked whether it mattered that Ford’s claims of assault by Kavanaugh occurred when the judge was 17 and in high school, Biden demurred.

Biden has been accused of more than Kavanaugh and that's when he was an adult. Kavanaugh wasn't accused of rape, the accuser even admitted he stopped when she said no, they just got hot and heavy. She accused him of what he 'could' have done, not what he did.

So now Kavanaugh is being charged with what some crazy girl 'thought'? Is that really a crime? If any of her 'story' ever happened at all outside of her own imagination.

This reminds me of when my wife used to get angry at me and wake me up because SHE had a nightmare.

"How many drinks did you have before the alleged incident?"  If she says none, that would be even harder to believe than what she has already claimed.  It was supposedly a "party".  Teenagers drink at parties, especially if or when there are no adults around.  If she says several drinks, that might have impacted what she ""thought"" at the time.

Ford has been given until Friday to provide a written response to the committee if she is to testify on Monday.  No documents Friday,
no session on Monday for her to testify at.  Documents on Friday, the GOP will be ready.
