CNN's Chris Cillizza: GOP 'walking a VERY dangerous line' in seeking details from Kavanaugh accuser

CNN political analyst Chris Cillizza said it would be "VERY dangerous" for Senate Republicans to ask for more specific details about accusations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, including when and where it allegedly happened.
"Walking a VERY dangerous line here," Cillizza wrote on Twitter Tuesday. He was responding to another tweet by Washington Post reporter Robert Costa, who quoted Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, as having told him that there is a lack of information regarding the account of Kavanaugh's accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
"The problem is," said Costa, quoting Cornyn, "Dr. Ford can’t remember when it was, where it was, or how it came to be. There are some gaps there that need to be filled."
