    Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir said the deal would strengthen security and stability in the wider region


JEDDAH: Eritrea and Ethiopia signed a peace deal on Sunday at a ceremony in Jeddah overseen by King Salman.

The agreement officially ends more than 20 years of war between the two countries.

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki and Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed signed the agreement after arriving in Jeddah on Saturday.

If one is ever in DC, Dukem Ethiopian restuarant, a lot of fun. Some of those Ethiopian women were very beautiful too. They say they are Semitic or part-Semitic people too.

On the downside, as said in another article, Eritrea has had some horrible rankings as far as freedoms and corruption go. They are there with NK. I didn't think it was suppose to be such a repressive regime.

We hear little about it and many of those crossing the Med as refugees are from there.
