GOP Senate candidate booed after saying African Americans beg for 'government scraps'
BY MORGAN GSTALTER - 09/14/18 04:22 PM EDT

Republican Senate candidate Chris McDaniel was booed by a crowd during a live taping of “Morning Joe” after saying that African-Americans have spent 100 years “begging for federal government scraps.”

The comment from the GOP nominee came during a segment of the MSNBC show taped at the University of Mississippi in Oxford on Friday.

Panelist Eddie Glaude Jr. asked McDaniel about his stance on the Confederate flag, saying that 38 percent of Mississippi residents are black while asking McDaniel how he would appeal to those voters and convince them "you are not a danger to them."

“I’m going to ask them, after 100 years of relying on big government to save you, where are you today?” McDaniel said. “After 100 years of begging for federal government scraps, where are you today?”

McDaniel was met with loud boos from the audience and quickly sought to clarify his comments.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Liberal MSNBC Panelist Taunts Republican Candidate in Mississippi
Goaded by Princeton professor Eddie Glaude (above), U.S. Senate hopeful stayed focused on campaign message

The co-hosts and panelists of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program on Friday — which was done from the road in Oxford, Mississippi — welcomed various candidates for the Senate in that state, including Democrat Mississippi state Rep. David Baria, Republican candidate Chris McDaniel, and Mike Espy, former Democrat congressman and agriculture secretary under President Bill Clinton.

Well, the panel welcomed some of those candidates.

There may be a context to what people say, the Lifezette website from what I've heard is Laura Ingraham's project. This above article must be the same appearance on Morning Joe.
