Trailblazing female who became infantry Marine is getting kicked out for fraternization
By: Andrea Scott

Remedios Cruz joined the Marine Corps in 2013 as a supply clerk. One year later, she completed infantry training, and in 2017, made history when she became one of three females to join 1st Battalion, 8th Marines at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Now, Cruz is awaiting separation from the Marine Corps after pleading guilty to maintaining a romantic relationship with a subordinate.

Cruz, 26, eventually married the person, who was a lower-ranking Marine in her unit, according The New York Times.

She screwed up by marrying a man. If she had married another woman everybody would be terrified to even mention it,or THEY would get booted.

@Frank Cannon

Nope. She helped establish a precedent,and so did the USMC brass that even allowed her and other women to enter the course and to pass it by changing the standards.

The problem is now going to be there forever.

Gee,I wonder what will happen if/when they are ever sent into combat and can't carry the same loads as the men,men die because they aren't strong enough to pick them up and carry them to aid stations,they have their periods out in the field and no access to sanitation,etc,etc,etc.

Actually I don't wonder. I know. So do you. Men will die and the women will end up being given medals,promotions, and then staff positions at the rear where they can no longer do much harm due to a lack of strength and mass.
