Oh no.  I made my case already. @Cyber Liberty

If your case was "This was a stupid tweet,"  I agree with you, and you are not the only person to make it.  It was stupid, and worse, an unforced error.

If your case was "Trump and FEMA were fatally negligent in PR," then you failed badly, which is why I asked you twice what Trump could have done better, specifically.  All I read were the same generalities and smears I can hear on the news every day.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

I'm unsure how I can better respond for your question @Cyber Liberty .  I take it on faith that you have taken a few seconds to think about the problem, the response, and the aftermath and that you are a human being with feelings of empathy without the sick psychotic dissociative traits of our monstrous President.  I could be wrong.

I can't spend the time to list everything.  Here are the top 10 (I could list more, but if these 10 don't make an impression the rest would be a waste) if you wanted to make things better

1 care about people
2 pretend to care about people
3 listen to cries for help
4 pretend to listen to cries for help
5 do something to make the problem better
6 pretend to do something to make the problem better
7 save lives
8 pretend to save live
9 help people
10 pretend to help people.

Even if you are only pretending you send a message to American's that people are important.  My President cares more about his golf score than the people.  JMHO

@Once-Ler Specifics, please.  A list of what Trump and FEMA can do better, remember?

He gets angry when you call him a democrat.  It hits him where he lives...literally.  BTW,  He called DC stupid for calling him that the other night.

Yeah, this conversation is following that pattern, like squeezing a partially filled water balloon.  Look at that post...all about "feelings" and nothing about specifics, like "Bolster FEMA headcount" or "Form an alliance with charities."

I'm not going to accuse the man of being a Democrat because I know better, but the waffling is among the best.  I give up.  The words speak for themselves anyway.

Your water balloon analogy is good. I always likened it to trying to hold onto a live trout.

I apologized to @Bigun for calling him stupid.  I said I was wrong and it was not true.  I'll reiterate it.  Bigun is as smart as any Trump voter.

There is no need to apologize when I express that you are winning @Ghost.  What is your point? I get angry when I am called names?  Sorry to be so human.

I'm a Constitution loving American Patriot who spent 40+ years in the trenches for the republican party until they forced me out recently.   Hope that helps!

Btw:  Still never voted for Trump.  But likely will in 2020 if he still wants the thankless job.

There's an expression for that underlined part:  "Damning with faint praise."  There's another:  Backhanded compliment.

You've consistently said "Trump voters are stupid."  You said Bigun is as smart as any Trump voter.  Ergo, Bigun is stupid.  Your "apology" is invalid.

It does @Bigun.  I kinda figured you were That Guy.  I don't like thinking less of you.  I got no right to judge, and even though we disagree, I understand your perspective.  What can I say.  You're a "Constitution loving American Patriot" who excuses Trump.  I don't bend that way.

Wrong again!  I don't excuse anything but I do understand that he is doing the best he can with what he has to work with.  He's accomplished more in two years, with the entire establishment working against him, than anyone else in my lifetime since Reagan.

For the most part, he's moving the ball down the field better than I had hoped.  I'm no Trumpian, but I like what I see so far.  Is he perfect?  No!  Who is?

I have not consistently said Trump voters are stupid.  Nearly a majority of voters voted for Trump.

You infer it all the time.  I've noticed this tactic.  Infer something over and over again, then act injured when somebody draws the obvious conclusion.  Some call that a "martyr complex."

That second sentence is why people accuse you of being a Dem...Democrats are the ones who love to bring up Hillary's winning the popular vote.  I'm not even going to bother pointing out that fallacy because you know why it's a BS Democrat talking point.

This is no different than what Blanco and Nagin did to Bush during Katrina, BUT Trump never should have got into the Mud with these pigs by his tweet.  Incredibly stupid and here it is STILL being discussed days later and it was/is a nothing burger, was this a PR ploy from the West Wing to cover up the Manafort crap or I being too paranoid again?
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

A useless fact, as useless as "Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000."  So what?

I'm getting practiced at it.

I've learned to get good at doing things I don't like.  Hopefully that changes Friday, when I retire from my 35 year old job.
