RUSH: Let me squeeze another phone call in there, ’cause this subject, too, touches on something that I’ve been puzzled by since day one. This is Jim from I-80 in Illinois. Great to have you, sir. How you doing?
CALLER: Rush, it’s great to talk to you. I’m doing well. I just listen to the radio, and it hits me, this is exactly the same thing — when you boil all the details away — that happened to Clinton. It’s a powerful man lying and trying to cover up an affair. It doesn’t matter if it’s campaign finance reform or lying about a blue dress under oath.
RUSH: Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait just a minute! It is about sex, but wait. There’s two strikingly different approaches here. In Bill Clinton’s case, you hire George Stephanopoulos and James Carville and Paul Begala with Hillary Clinton running the shop to go out and destroy all the women that are coming forth and naming you! You call ’em up! You threaten to destroy them!
You say, “This is what happens when you drag a dollar bill through a trailer park.†It was the Bimbo Eruptions Unit, and the Clinton team had no compunction whatsoever about bullying, threatening, and ruining those women. Trump thanked ’em and paid ’em off. You want to talk about…? Well, they ended up being paid. I’m not trying to… I’m just pointing out the difference here and the hypocrisy because old Jim here is right. It still is all about sex, in a way, but there are even more parallels like this. But sadly, I’m out of time again.
