Buying virtual money with actual real money was always a confusing idea to me. Just did not seem like a very solid financial plan. I've been involved in some pump-and-dumps, but fortunately I missed this one.

BTC has been holding in the $6-7K range for months now...when were the "boom" and "bust"?  I am guessing the author is calling Dec. 2017 the "boom". I may have to read the article, but general media ignorance on topics regarding cryptocurrency makes me cringe.
