The interpreters [Elites and Leftists] decide what things mean. Is something offensive? Is something racist? Is something sexist? Is something homophobic or transphobic? These decisions destroy the people's access to the public sphere and public legitimacy.
We let them, and nearly every trusted institution went along with them to the point that government is able to be used to FORCE compliance of belief. Homosexual marriage is prima-facea evidence of this.
The interpretive class would do well to stop and listen to the public instead of pretending to be unaware of the basis of the public's outrage.
No, the Left has no intention of listening to the public that they hold in the same hatred, contempt and disgust that leaders in government, business and academia hold it.
The public does have a clue. It is not ignorant.
The public waited too long to rectify where we have arrived to affect the outcome without violence. They were waiting for someone else they could latch onto as a leader to fight that war for them, because their lives were too busy to be engaged in the kind of trench warfare required. Like everything else, the people wanted to leave it up to someone else to do.
Rendering Secular Leftist imbecility irrelevant in the public sphere, can now only be countered via outright warfare and vindictive payback. What the prevailing attitude and zeitgeist among the Trumpublic is, is to crush their enemies and do to them what we have allowed the Left to do to the culture and the "public" with impunity for decades.
It's war. A cold war that could go hot in pockets at any time, and indeed already has.
Liberty is lost regardless which of these 'sides' ends up destroying the other.
And when I say 'destroy' - I mean kill, as in bloodshed. Because the Left is not going to stop now - it's revolution to save the decades of groundwork their Communist patriarchs have laid - and they firmly believe they have indoctrinated enough of the populace to join their cause when real punishment and oppression are made legal. They believe the 'public' in flyover country will fold like cheap suits when they turn public opinion against them when the shelves go bare and they blame them for the woe and misery that they themselves will unleash. They know they have unlimited amounts of cash that will be gifted to them to go after and financially destroy every single person they find offensive and want to make an example of. That career agents have been entrenched in government and the Alphabets to wage political warfare for the Left, should be our canary in the cage that this is for keeps.
We have become the Israelis and the Palestinians in America - there is now never going to be peace in America until one side annihilates the other, or they are shamed into silence or subjugated by force and occupied by an oppressive tyranny to keep order. Given that the architects of the current Democrat leadership war-gamed the extermination of up to 40 million Americans that they asserted could not be 'converted' to the new Leftist cause - I would say annihilation is very much going to be the plan. A people hostile to the 'old' morality will have no reservations in doing those things in order to impose their new 'morality'.
