The event was planned by the Satanic Temple and Satanic Arkansas -- which is not affiliated with the national organization -- and took about two months to put together, organizer Ivy Forrester said. Forrester, like several at the rally, gave a pseudonym instead of her real name.

The event was scheduled for 1-3 p.m., but supporters and protesters showed up shortly before the start time and many left before 3 p.m. About 150 people attended the rally, which had a substantial police presence. Authorities declined to give an official crowd estimate.

I feel this is appropriate to say after several phone calls this morning. The news did a poor job of clarifying what actually took place yesterday at the State Capitol.

The satanic protest/rally that was held yesterday afternoon dispersed a couple hours later. The statue they are advocating for went with them when they left. The group wanting to place the statue would have to follow the same procedures as anyone else. They would have to find a legislator willing to run a bill allowing them to proceed with a monument design on the Capitol grounds. It would have to pass both the House and Senate and be signed by the Governor. Then the Secretary of State’s office and Capitol Arts Commission would have to approve an architectural design, and the group would have to raise enough money to pay for construction and maintenance beforehand.

All that to say, there are checks in place to keep the grounds from being flooded with statues. It’s a tough process getting through step one, as this same group tried last legislative session and found not one legislator willing to sponsor their bill. Hope this answers your questions.

If President Trump is fighting this, it is, indeed, despicable.  He needs to be told to butt out of state politics, and get his fat butt back in DC, working on the things he was put there for...like working with Congress to get legislation to cut our debt, build the wall, Etc.

Why, do so many of you, play with words?  It was despicable of that satan statue being put up, not that my president TRUMP is despicable. 

How am I to know, that some one else would post at the same time?   I see, I need to be more careful on here, as you all love to mock posters.  I will copy EACH POST,,to make sure you will understand.  SPOON FEEDING, as it were.

Tump has absolutely NO business messing with the state. Keep his fat ass out of state business.

The ONLY thing he could do to help is to strike down the federal laws (juducial fiat) that prevent the people of the state from ordaining what they want. Those laws are what got rid of the 10 commandments in courthouses and schools in the first place.

Other than that GTFO. He has ZERO jurisdiction in state matters.

Yes, a different thing ... It is a replication of the arch of Baal from Baalbek Lebanon... To 'celebrate' the original, destroyed by ISIS.

It was first erected in London for Beltaine (occult haloween), Baal's day.
Then it was moved to rest across from the capitol in New York.. and so on.

Baal is doing victory laps right in front of people's eyes. Oh, and that nasty little goat ... Same dang thing.
