The Trump campaign is suing Omarosa for millions after her tell-all book and recordings set off a firestorm

President Donald Trump's campaign announced on Tuesday that it's suing former top White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman for allegedly breaching a 2016 non-disclosure agreement by releasing secret recordings of top officials, including Trump, and writing a tell-all book on the campaign and administration she served.

The Washington Examiner, The Washington Post, and the Associated Press reported that the campaign filed for arbitration against Manigault Newman with the American Arbitration Association in New York City for violating the agreement.

I knew there HAD to be a ND signed agreement somewhere.    I hope he sues her into homelessness.   If that sounds harsh.... understand that I know this snake and what she's worth.  Zip, zilch and nada.

I wish someone could sue Strzok (and a few others), as well.   He doesn't deserve to retire wealthy, much less free as a bird.

I hope to live long enough to see a parade of Orange jumpsuits filed with the likes of James Comey, Robert Mueller, Peter Strozk, Bruce Ohr, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Huma Abadeen, and the Podesta brothers for starters!

Don't hold your breath for that to actually happen.... but yeah, it's a REAL nice dream.

I think they have a much better criminal case regarding espionage than they do regarding a non-disclosure agreement. I am not sure how well that's been tested in the political realm due to both first amendment and whistleblower protection act provisions.

He would be better off having Sessions throw her in a deep criminal case hole.

She probably figures she has a 'get out of jail free card' (actually the usual race card) that will keep her from serving time for her crimes.   Let's hope she's wrong about that, too.

Filing a case on this particular ground may be a way of getting a judge to file an injunction against the release of any further recordings as it is pending litigation specifically on the grounds regarding disclosure. IE, it may be something their party knows won't hold up but it will stop the releases (at least temporarily). It is a stop-gap measure.

Which makes you wonder how she'll react being put in a corner. Will she comply or do a big dump in a vindictive manner (or dump it before a judge has a chance of issuing said order)?

All speculation of course. :)

Of course...lol.   And I speculate... that she will do a big dump in an extremely vindictive manner.  It's how she rolls (seen her in action).

Also does not require going through a corrupt DOJ in order to file the suit.  IMHO that is the major reason for doing it this way.

It doesn't sound harsh at all.  She played Trump with evil intentions from the start.  Maybe he was a fool to believe her, but that doesn't make it okay.

As for Strzok, he is a smug, evil guy who had the absolute gall to plead for money on a Gofundme site when he's probably already stolen a bunch of money from us.

I saw her interview on the Today show, a friendly venue.  She cannot stand the mildest of questions.  She is both vindictive and woefully ignorant.  When the interview turned even slightly confrontive, she lied and said she had another interview scheduled and fled into the night (or day)

FYI:
NDAs for government workers, when they go beyond prohibiting the disclosure of classified information, are unconstitutional on their face....  For decades, courts have made it clear that the government may not censor unclassified material, “contractually or otherwise."

That's why I mentioned above, it is probably a stop-gap measure to get a judge to issue an injunction on further release of recordings. It will probably end up as a criminal matter, this was just the quickest way to action.

Trump campaign hires Hulk Hogan lawyer Charles Harder for arbitration action against Omarosa Manigault Newman
CNBC, Aug 14, 2018

Attorney Charles Harder is representing President Donald Trump's campaign in its arbitration fight against former senior White House official Omarosa Manigault Newman, according to a source with direct knowledge of the matter.

[...]

On Tuesday, a campaign official announced that the campaign was filing an arbitration complaint against Manigault Newman with the American Arbitration Association in New York City. The campaign accused her of breaching her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump campaign.

A spokesman for the Trump campaign did not return requests for comment on Harder's hiring. Harder declined to comment.

The California-based Harder has represented both the president and first lady Melania Trump. In 2017, he secured damages and an apology for the first lady after settling a defamation lawsuit against UK tabloid The Daily Mail. The paper had published an article that said she worked for an escort service.

@guitar4jesus

Are all campaign workers "government workers"?

If the non-disclosure is to mean a damn thing, Omarosa cannot be ignored or dismissed because some feel it's too messy to smack her about the head and neck with a legal 2x4.

This breach of contract must be met with full frontal force --- and some may need to walk away and take a break because the last thing needed is incessant whining, moaning and virtue-signaling during this next battle.

Okay, I've seen enough of Omarosa to know she is an evil, manipulative bitch who uses being Black as a shield.  She has to be fought and I hope she can be frightened into shutting up.  And maybe apologizing.
