President Trump told his former aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman that he wasn't aware White House chief of staff John Kelly decided to fire her, according to a new tape she released to NBC News.

"Omarosa, what's going on?" Trump asked her on a call that she said took place soon after Kelly fired her. "I just saw on the news that you're thinking about leaving? What happened?"

"Gen. Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave," she said.

I heard that recording this morning.  The outlandish part was Trump saying he didn't know Kelly fired her, that he didn't want her to leave.  It's his White House and he could have stopped the firing, but he didn't.  His tweet about her this morning called her "Wacky Omarosa".  Still childish Trump.

He told Kelly to handle it, so he did.  Doesn't look like anything more than delegation of authority.  Big Deal.

She brought an electronic device into the situation room and made a recording. Whatever reason they had for firing her was compounded by that action, which is a fireable offense. She’s a ridiculous woman.

No the President is not.  99% of CEO's tell their COS or COO to handle an ugly firing ... and to keep their fingerprints off it.  I'd bet real money the President filled Kelly in on his call with Omarosa.

Poor Omarosa, my ass.  She begged and threw herself at the President-elect's feet promising to be good for his administration's outreach to minorities.

I know you hate the President, but pull it together and at least reach for something intelligent.
