(Reuters) - The mother of Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager shot to death by a white policeman in Ferguson, Missouri, igniting months of protest and a national debate over race and law enforcement, said on Friday she is running for City Council.

Lezley McSpadden announced her candidacy at an emotionally charged rally surrounded by supporters, a day after the fourth anniversary of her son’s death, which thrust the St. Louis suburb into the global spotlight as an emblem of troubled U.S. race relations.

Ironic... that Michael Brown was the very definition of a bully... and quite possibly a racist one (anti-whitey, anti-Asian?).  That he attempted to disarm a police officer and committed assault means nothing to the idiots that champion (still) him.  He's their hero.  He's the face of their "movement".   And per usual, as is most often when it relates to the idiot left, their "movement" stinks.

Plus he was VERY aggressive by nature (strong arm robber at the store that caused the cop to stop  him),over 6'4",and probably over 300 lbs.

Then again,his mama and his last girlfriend both probably weigh over 300 lbs each,so maybe his weight isn't a big deal in his social circles.

This woman is milking her son's death for all it's worth.  I wonder if she cared about him this much when he was alive.
