Contributions pour into Trump legal defense fund for aides ‘devastated' by Mueller probe

Donations to a special “Patriot†fund created to help President Trump’s aides and allies pay massive legal bills because of the Russia “witch hunt†are starting to pour in, even before those managing it have begun to raise money in earnest.
Documents to the IRS provided by the Patriot Legal Expense Fund Trust show second quarter contributions of $180,000, the first of what may be millions of dollars to help those Trump recently said have been “devastated and destroyed by the phony Russia witch hunt.â€
Several current and former aides, volunteers and consultants have run up big legal bills, including those who have talked to the special investigator, Robert Mueller.
