Limiting myself to my 7+ decades the list is:

1. Lyndon Baines Johnson

2. William Jefferson Clinton

3. Hillary Rodam

4. Teddy Kennedy

5. Jimmy Carter

PS:  If I weren't so lazy I would write an alternative history book that has Barry Goldwater defeating LBJ and how the country and the world looks today as a result.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Nope. In fact I've never worked in food service.

Sorry, but Bill Clinton is by far number one.  Between his coziness with China, failure to deal with bin Laden,

You can't mention Bubba without mentioning his partner in Treason,Poppy Bush. Poppy put together the deals with China for a part of the take.

How did FDR not make the list?  New Deal policies still weigh us down today.

Good question. Him and his commie wife were nothing less than traitors.

I think this author had a very personal dislike for Kerry's actions during Vietnam.  I imagine Kerry hurt more of his friends and comrades than anybody else on the list.

@Cyber Liberty

I will argue that the unarmed VN mother and her small children he bragged about gunning down with a 50 caliber machine gun from the deck of his patrol boat were the most hurt. He writes it was ok to do this because they were traveling in a "free fire zone" where no one is supposed to be. MOST people would have pulled the boat up to a bank and questioned her,maybe even arrested her and the children and took them to the nearest SVN authorities,but not John Wayne Kerry! He just fired them up with his 50 cal.

BTW,the author's generation gap is showing when he whines about Jimi Hendrix and Janis. Neither was responsible in any respect for creating the so-called "drug revolution". There were mere footsoldiers,not generals.

In FACT,Jimi Hendrix had been a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division.

Jerry Rubin had a bunch to do with that, spreading the Timothy Leary gospel of "tune in, turn on, and drop out" (before flying across the country to make another appearance). How he afforded to do that while "dropping out" is somewhat unclear.... Leary himself gets a big chunk of credit, there.

@sneakypete was defending Jimi Hendrix.  Which is appropriate, IMHO.

There is a lot to recommend both points of view.

@Bigun

Thanks!   888high58888

Both of us having been long time members of TOS, I think we can safely say that agreement includes them too.  Even if JR can be a chicken-sh*t.

Yeah, I don't post on TOS anymore but I do check them out frequently.  They still bring up stuff you don't see anywhere else.

JR lost it in 2012 and I left and I came back before the last primary and was forced out again. He can be a total asshat.

Oh, here we go again, defending the evil of slavery. How noble, I'll want to read all of your posts.  I don't think that's backed up realistically, everyone knew Lincoln was going to end slavery.

By the way, some would put your favorite father and son presidents on the list as well, at least the son.

OMG, I left this thing in July and people are still crazy.  Slavery was on the way out and would have been over in 50 years without the incredible loss of life and division of our country.  It's naive to believe Lincoln stopped slavery.
