Isn't that the problem? We have come to rely on cheap labor and leave it to the taxpayer to provide what the company won't. Low wages = welfare, but not so much for citizens. When illegals move to the neighborhood several families to a home. Then they all apply for whatever benefits they can get.

Nobody's...we let them die in the street?
Or do we dump it on the churches and those who are generous, making them pick up the whole tab?
Or is it all of our responsibility?
I know the lefties would say, "Make employers pay a living wage so the businesses bear the cost!" but we know that won't work because the businesses can't compete then.
And do we care whether American businesses go out of business? If not, then stop the competitive labor to them. But if we care, then how do we make it so they compete when a competitor can just go elsewhere and access cheap labor?
Sure, it's the dirty little secret that we as conservatives don't want to face, but some people can't generate enough to pay for their cost to live.
