Good riddance.  I hope so!  Merkel's immigration policy has been very harmful to Germany and to Europe in general.

Report: Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel could be ousted next week over her immigration policies

Angela Merkel could be ousted as chancellor of Germany as early as next week if she doesn’t devise a new plan for her country’s migrant crisis, according to a member of Germany’s parliament........

Merkel is battling with Interior Minister Horst Seehofer, who wants Germany to send back migrants who have registered in other European Union countries. On the other hand, Merkel believes an open-door migrant policy is vital to Europe’s unity.

“This is a European challenge that also needs a European solution,” Merkel said. “And I view this issue as decisive for keeping Europe together.”

Both Merkel and Seehofer are refusing to compromise, the report stated. Forcing Merkel to reverse the open-door migrant policy she has had in place since 2015 would greatly undermine her authority. Merkel is often described as one of the most powerful women in the world.

“We are in a serious situation because the question of the migration crisis evolved into a power question,” Whittaker told BBC radio. “The question is who is leading the government? Is it Angela Merkel or is it Horst Seehofer? Everybody seems to be standing firm and that’s the problem.”.........

Three names would go down in history for those who ruined Germany:


1. Kaiser Wilhelm
2. Adolf Hitler
3. Angela Merkel


Granted she isn't Hitler or wasn't like the Kaiser in taking over the world, she did ruin Germany.

Of course, because whomever gets in will not be as popukar, and her conservative party will lose power to one of the more left-leaning ones.  The far right might be rising, but not enough to be close to taking the country.

That's because her opposition is terrible. 

The people in Germany are not happy with this Migrant business at all.  A few months ago I read of a small village with a population of about 600 being forced to take 1,000 of these Moslem invaders.  Many people had their homes seized.  This is going on all over the country, so I am also amazed she's still in power.

Well.... the German people had to know.... that any government that would seize the homes of Jews to give to the non-Jews.... would also get around, eventually, to seizing their homes to give to some other favored-du-jour group of people.   It's not rocket surgery.

I'm not. That country is such a mess than whenever there are elections, she is always the far more sensible and logical choice.
