SDCC, AMC Pull Chris Hardwick Programming In Wake of Assault Allegations

Following allegations of sexual assault from an ex-girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra, entertainment host and panel moderator Chris Hardwick has been pulled from duty at July’s Comic-Con International in San Diego.

In addition, AMC also announced the talk show Talking with Chris Hardwick, which was set to premiere its second season this Sunday, has also been pulled from the network.

Hardwick was due to moderate AMC’s The Walking Dead Panel, as well as the BBC’s Doctor Who panel with new star Jodie Whittaker, but a statement from AMC reveals in light of the allegations, those plans will no longer be happening.

Am I missing something here---how was this sexual assault?  It seems like Hardwick might be a jerk, but she admits repeatedly that she chose to stay with him and to sleep with him.  So...? 

Seems to me this chick was stewing about his marriage and wanted to get a little internet revenge.
