3 US soldiers killed by Daesh in Hasaka: activists

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Three American Army troops were killed by Daesh attack in northeastern Hasaka province as its allied Kurdish-led forces launch a major attack on last ISIS pockets near the Iraqi border, local activists said Friday.
The attack occurred near the town of al-Shaddadi on Wednesday when Daesh targeted a US armoured with guided rocket, activist Mohamed al-Kheder told Zaman al-Wasl.
ISIS also killed 8 Kurdish fighters near the al-Shaddadi, according to al-Kheder.
At least 13 US Army soldiers killed northeastern Syria in three months.
