The Hubris of Judges Threatens Our Ability to Govern Ourselves

Michael P. Tremoglie / May 22, 2018 / 57 Comments

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court issued a ruling in February establishing new congressional voting districts for the state’s residents. That ruling abolished the voting districts established by the state Legislature in 2011.

Why? The justices felt the 2011 districts were political gerrymandering and discriminated against Democrats. Of course, the elected Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices are mostly Democrats.

This usurpation of a legislative function should be considered dangerous, regardless of one’s political affiliation. It was a concern of the Founding Fathers.

It is not the judges who will destroy this country.

It is the willing acceptance by citizens that is undermining us.

The Constitution did not envision judicial being an ultimate authority.

Instead, the people's representatives, ie Congress, was always intended to be that.

Congress in its ineptitude is not adhering to its role in removing judges usurping their authority.

Citizens should demand they do so.
No punishment, in my opinion, is too great, for the man who can build his greatness upon his country's ruin~  George Washington

There's no one to blame in the state of Pennsylvania other than the Republican legislators themselves.

They have the power and the numbers to remove by impeachment EVERY ONE of the democrat-communist judges who voted for that ruling.

All they needed was the will to do so.

And.... what did they do?
