ABC set to dial back political humor from pro-Trump 'Roseanne' next season
By Brian Flood | Fox News

ABC’s “Roseanne” is one of the few popular television programs to feature a pro-Trump character, but conservatives shouldn’t get used to seeing similar ideology on the sitcom for much longer.

ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey put the kibosh on “Roseanne” remaining political in the second season – apparently ditching the strategy the network touted only two months ago.

Dungey said that the show will lean away from politics next season during a conference call with reporters as part of the network’s upfront presentation. Upon learning the news, conservative media icon Matt Drudge tweeted, “Corporate cannibals stripping Roseanne of her fun.”

Mystery, it takes the networks a long time to learn and then they don't learn.  They are set upon forcing their views on the public but they are gradually and reluctantly learning a lesson.

They cancelled a popular show called Last Man Standing without a viable reason except that 'THEY' didn't like the conservative slant to the show.  The public responded and now the show has been picked up by Fox.  It is also extremely popular in reruns.

Just recently I read that they have cancelled a network show called 'Rise.'  It was about a high school teacher determined to put on a controversial musical.  I watched it.  The kids were good and appealing and I love musicals.  Gradually I realized this show was pushing every liberal agenda.  EVERY single one.  It featured a girl who wanted to be a boy.  A gay couple of boys.  Parental abuse and abusive sexual relationships.  So predictable.  The principle of the school, very mean guy, tried to get the director to soften some of the themes.  At the end, the director went back to his original version featuring all the deviancy.  The network received a lot of negative mail to the extent that the show was cancelled.

The networks are so vain they think they can force anything down our throats.  Glad to see the public is proving they can't.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.
